If you have any of the following on your record, you should speak with an attorney from our office BEFORE you file any immigration applications:

1. Either a crime involving moral turpitude (CIMT) or a violation of any law or regulation related to a controlled substance;
2. Convicted of two or more offences with an aggregate period of confinement of five years or more;
3. Controlled substance violation;
4. Illegal prostitution and/or commercialized vice within the past 10 years;
5. Controlled substance trafficking;
6. Human trafficking; or
7 Money laundering activities.
